AGAPE Pastoral Counseling Center, Inc.

The Mission of Agape Pastoral Counseling Center, Inc. is to provide affordable faith-based counseling services as an outreach ministry to the community.


Agape Pastoral Counseling Center Inc. is a non-profit program affiliated with Main Street United Methodist Church. Counseling Staff are licensed by the State of South Carolina to provide the services they offer.

Dianna Helfrich, B.S., M.A.
Counselor

Dianna is a graduate of Erskine Seminary with a Master of Arts in Counseling Ministry. She was also a Lay Protestant Chaplain at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She has experience working in support of the ministers in her home church in Signal Mountain, Tennessee. Dianna is married to Robert (Bob) Helfrich and has two grown sons.

While Agape Pastoral Counseling Center, Inc. is still in the early stages of development, the goals of the Board of Directors are:

  • to provide affordable, professional, faith-based counseling services 
  • to offer seminars to churches (marriage enrichment, parenting)
  • to support ministers with family-related issues within the church
  • to support community programs
  • to support Greenwood UMC District Programs
