Know the 5 D’s of Dodgeball- Dodge, Dive, Dip, Duck, Dodge
On Sunday night, we hosted a Dodgeball Tournament with First
Baptist! We played dodgeball with 4
teams of 6 and some cheerleaders on the side! We then played a game with 2 large teams, and then we played
Main Street against First Baptist.
The results ended in a tie. The
last game, was 1-on-1….me against Blake (who is the athletic Youth Director
at First Baptist), and that game ended after only 3 balls were thrown. You can guess who won that one.
Haha. Anyway, everyone that was
there had a blast! Thank you to the
parents who helped!
My athletic abilities will be tested for the second week in a row
this Sunday at the Adult vs. Youth Flag Football game! We will be at the YMCA main field (the
one with the track around it) at 2 pm!
I need all the help I can get! Haha! Come join us! If you
don’t want to play, then come cheer us on!

Last week’s Youth of the Week

Last week’s Youth of the Week is Sarah
Cason. Sarah is a junior at Emerald
High School. Her favorite food is
cheez-its and sweet potato pie. She enjoys watching her favorite movie, Deja
Vu. Her Favorite bible verse is 1 John 5:1-5. Sarah went to the Senior High Spiritual Life Retreat this
past weekend. When asked what her
favorite part of Springmaid was, she answered, ”Getting a closer connection
with Jesus, having lots of fun, getting to know people, and I especially
liked the Talent Show.”
When you see Sarah around church, ask her about her experience this
past weekend! J
