Kathy Kelly

Kathy joined the staff of Main Street United Methodist Church in September of 1987 as a Children’s Program Coordinator. Kathy moved from this part-time position to the full-time position of Program Coordinator in July of 1996. Kathy earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop College in 1978 and taught in the Lexington School District for two years before starting a family. Kathy has a passion for missions and has served at Salkehatchie Summer Service camps from 1997-2012. She has also traveled with mission teams to Honduras and to the Mississippi coast following hurricane Katrina. Kathy is married to Jim Kelly. Their family includes sons, Wesley, Patrick, and Jeremy, daughters-in-law, Lauren and Cass, and their grandchildren – Selah, Moriah, Clara and Owen.
